A Way Forward Task Force - Listening Post Events

To allow individuals to hear accurate information about the work of the Commission on a Way Forward and the Council of Bishop's recommendation of the One-Church Plan, as well as express their thoughts, the Way Forward Task Force has organized 20 “Listening Post” events  (two per District) in which facilitated, small group discussions will be undertaken around a limited set of questions, such as:

  • What hopes do you have with the One Church Plan?
  • What concerns do you have about the One Church Plan?

Please remember that these discussions are not intended to be an open debate of the Commission on A Way Forward’s full report nor an effort to persuade others.  The Listening Posts are intended to provide a safe, non-threatening environment in which participants can further their understanding and discern the leading of the Holy Spirit.

As you complete the registration form below, please consider volunteering to assist with facilitating the small group discussions.  If you are interested, a Way Forward Task Force member will contact you to explain the process and provide instruction and guidance.
