Is there any reason you would have difficulty obtaining a passport?

If you do not already have a passport, please apply for one now.  It can take several weeks to obtain although it is possible to pay extra fees for expedited processing. It is important to obtain one as soon as possible as your passport number is necesary to finalize travel arrangements and other details related to international teams. Wherever we serve, it is possible that children will come around to see the visitors. Our Conference Safe Sanctuaries asks that all VIM Team members submit clearances.  You can complete both of the following background check processes online as a volunteer. 

First, complete State Police Criminal Background check 

Second, complete PA Child Abuse Clearances.  

 

Your team leader will ask you to send in a copy of your clearances so please locate those and have them ready.
